Dining out in Puerto Calero is always an enjoyable pastime. At any time of the day, the bars and restaurants have customers relaxing over a drink or tapas whilst people watching those wandering along the promenade.

Puerto Calero has a selection of restaurants including Italian, Chinese, Mexican, as well as those specialising in fresh fish caught locally, tapas and others offering an international menu.

For more sophisticated dining there is the Amura restaurant mentioned in the 2009 Michelin guide. The Amura is situated at the Western end of the promenade and provides fine food in a colonial style setting, with its gracious terrace from which there are lovely views, particularly at sunset.
